Architecture and Attitude - ArchohmThe book demonstrates how C28 C, the building that houses studio Archohm and has gone on to produce more architecture, was conceived with a first principle approach to ensure an effective, efficient and environment- conscious architectural solution. It displays how the ecosystem was perceived as a live and dynamic canvas, its parts and the whole facilitate conversations between materials, colours, textures, interior accessories, illumination concepts; along with these also how the play of volumes, forms and light etc made the studio a three dimensional laboratory and library. It also vividly narrates how challenges were met head on, the labyrinthine issues resolved and the responsibility of placing the building’s architecture and its attitude in a contemporary indian context taken on. It shares the story of the gratifying journey called the design process and of how life can be lived through design.
