Sharing a boundary with a historic chapel in the village of Salvador-do-Mundo, Aso, Goa, is residence-cum-studio space, designed by Studio Matterr on a linear plan with a conscious attempt to leave more than half the site empty for a rich, tropical landscape.

Designed by Sachin Agshikar Architects: The site for this little lab building is situated on the Eastern border of Goa, in the middle of a cement factory campus. This factory, towering above the surrounding grey and dusty industrial area, had an intimidating scale. The huge mountains of raw material, the smoke, the steel structures, workers covered with fine cement powder, and the energy with which the machines worked effortlessly, was an unforgettable sight.
The school is envisioned as a composition of two linear pavilions, one housing the classrooms / exhibits, the other housing a large multipurpose space, the two separated by a green court. The ‘Mozaic’ office is a simple building, sitting at the edge of a forest.
